Here are a few guidelines when posting on this site. It's important that we all abide by these few housekeeping rules so we can maintain this community for years to come!
POSTING A JOB:
Format for Title of Post: COMPANY - Job Title - Location
Please be sure to include the following in the body of the post:
- Job title
- Brief description of duties
- Location
- Company
- How to apply (include link if applicable)
- Contact info.
- Deadline to apply
JOB SEEKERS:
Format for Title of Post: Seeking [Type of role/job desired] - [Location]
Please be sure to include the following in the body of the post:
- Brief description of desired role or job
- Location
- Upload resume if desired
- Date you are available
- Contact info.
Incomplete postings may be removed or returned for revision.
JOB BOARD GUIDELINES/RULES OF CONDUCT:
Keep It Relevant
All postings must be related to:
- Roofing or closely related industries (construction, manufacturing, distribution, services)
- Career opportunities, internships, or industry-relevant roles
Posts unrelated to employment opportunities may be removed.
Be Honest & Transparent
- Represent roles, compensation (if shared), and expectations accurately
- Clearly identify contract, commission-only, or temporary roles
Misleading or deceptive postings are not permitted.
No Spam or Excessive Posting
- Do not post the same job repeatedly in a short timeframe
- Consolidate multiple openings into one post when possible
Duplicate or excessive posts may be removed.
No Promotions or Sales Pitches
This is not a space for:
- Advertising services
- Recruiting for unrelated programs
- General marketing or lead generation
Posts must be focused on legitimate job opportunities.
Be Respectful & Professional
All interactions should reflect NWIR's values:
- No harassment, discrimination, or offensive language
- No negative or disparaging comments about individuals or companies

Members are responsible for their own due diligence.
Moderation & Enforcement
NWIR reserves the right to:
- Edit or remove any post that does not align with these guidelines
- Restrict posting access for repeat violations
